  I switched to South State Bank 1.5 yrs ago after leaving a bank I had for 30yrs. The employees here have been fabulous!!! Especially Michelle!!! I had a problem with a deposit overlapping drafts and Michelle took the time to help me get it all straightened out. And followed up by calling me the next day. She has gone over and above in customer service! And I witnessed her helping a confused elderly woman....she took time explaining the situation with her, helping her with her withdrawals that were causing this woman distress. Michelle took her time, repeating often, to assure the woman understood what was happening in her account. Other customers that came in all know her name. I am sure she has helped many others. Condos for having outstanding employees!!!

  I opened an account with this Bank beginning in July 2021. They have been very helpful. If you don't understand what the offer is don't sign the dotted line until you do they have a lot of great programs I have recommended two family to change to this Bank
