  I called the Edgewater branch a couple of days ago and was treated extremely rudely and shockingly by the lady that picked up the phone. It was clear she did not want to help me or even have a normal customer service conversation. As someone who spent years working in the banking industry I was absolutely taken aback by her curt, condescending and dismissive demeanor. I was fully ready to close my account and sever my business relationship with Mariners bank (along with pipeline business like loans I planned to apply for), until I gave a call to Franca who originally opened my accounts in the Cliffside Park branch. As usual, Franca made all my requests and questions a simple process with a smile the whole way. THIS is what customer service is. If it wasn’t for Franca, my accounts would have been absolutely closed by next business day morning. There are a million and one banks, I don’t need to do any business anywhere where I am not treated with respect and consideration. I will only deal with Franca going forward. Management absolutely should have a conversation with this edgewater employee since she not only was completely inappropriate but also misinformed based on the little “information” she provided. Zero stars for edgewater, 2 stars only since another employee at another location saved their business relationship with me. Unbelievable.

  Amazing experience everytime I go. The tellers are extremely helpful and courteous. The branch manager Sheerin is extremely helpful.
