      Long story short, two days before my closing I was told by my mortgage specialist that the numbers weren't working. The numbers were the same throughout the entire process. I was pre-approved and told everything was fine. I paid $8,000 for a down payment and it looked like it was going to be gone. I got a phone call from somebody at the bank that I never spoke to before and said everything was okay and I was ready to close. These people really don't know what they're doing and they shouldn't be trusted with such a major decision and someone's life. Plenty of better lenders out there.
