  I don't want to be a Karen, but I'm so disappointed with this bank. I've always believed in banking locally and truly felt it's best to keep my money in town. I recently had my identity stolen, and it’s indeed a nightmare. I would hope my local small-town bank would help, but no. They hire another company to take care of any fraud-related activity and wash their hands of any problems. After fighting with other companies to get my money back, Starion moved cash into my account, then back out, and then left me in the red. They told me, “We’ve sent you a letter.” They also proceeded to talk over me when I tried to speak and went out of their way to make me feel like a child because I didn't understand at first what was happening. I've been on the phone with these people before, but today I was left disheartened. I don't think they genuinely care; as a matter of fact, I sense a zero amount of genuineness from these people, and that's honestly the most alarming characteristic of their nature. I know it might not seem like a lot of money to them, but for someone with a budget, it's significant. They've made a scary situation even more disastrous and damaged my finances. I'm afraid I'll be stuck in a hole with these people, and it will never end. I hope this message is seen, and I hope Starion will feel the same regret and disappointment as me and understand I think it worse. Save yourself the stress... Bank elsewhere.
