  Dishonest, unreliable, WON'T answer their phones. It's probably prudent if you don't waste your time and money here, which is too bad because they *could have* cornered the insurance market here.

  SHAME ON YOU BIG BEAR INSURANCE! Apparently, loyalty means nothing to you. I was a customer for 15 years and am appalled at how badly I have been treated. Perhaps I should have had a clue when over a year ago I called numerous times to upgrade my policies. I NEVER received the courtesy of a return call and ended up contacting the insurance company direct, advised the issue I was having with my broker and was able to complete this necessary transaction myself. This was the second time I had to do this. This year, my current insurance company pulled out of the area and I need a new policy. I called BB Insur 2 1/2 months ahead, was assured no problem with obtaining a new policy and was advised the time frame for the quote would be good for 40 days only, to relax and they would be in touch at that time. NEVER heard a word. I was patient and understanding. I began calling at the 30 day window to my policy expiration date and each time was given a line of BS (promised dates to get the info to me and never happened). I advised them I needed a little time to review paperwork and the approaching expiration date was becoming stressful. Nothing but lies. Kept telling me I would have it that week, and the next week, etc.... Nothing! All I heard was how busy they are and how many pieces of paper they have all over the office and how many files stacked up. They spent more time griping about how busy they are than it would have taken to get a quote. BB Insurance, if you cannot handle your workload, do the moral thing and tell your customers to go elsewhere. When my expiration date was a week and a half away, I called again and was given nothing but attitude and more lies. But, I didn't have the right to get upset??? I went elsewhere in Big Bear and received quotes from several agencies within 48 hours. I was treated with respect and was able to obtain a good policy and happily took my business elsewhere.
