      I have had nothing but the best of service and support from the State Credit Union. I have been banking with them for 35 years now and I have never had a complaint.

      Tried to get a loan here. I called and got no answer so I did an online application. Say someone will contact you within 24 hours. Called several times and left several messages. Nine days later somebody called me. I had already gone elsewhere and borrowed money plus borrowed extra to pay off a loan I had there after this experience. I paid off PNC Bank and WV Credit Union. One week later and PNC has received my payoff mailed from a bank in Fairmont, WV. Yep you guessed it, credit Union says they haven’t received anything in Charleston, WV. This used to be a great place to do business but has went straight down the tubes. Avoid the hassle and go somewhere else!!!!!!!!!!!

      This has to be the most inconvenient CU ever. It was setup for the employees of the State of WV, BUT unless you work on the Capitol grounds the "open" times are ridiculous. Most state employees don't get off until 4 and the lobby closes well before this. Today, my wife attempted to deposit CASH, US Legal Tender for ALL DEBTS public and private, in a small account I have. She was refused service because she wasn't on the account. Reason given..... to deter money laundering. It was $110.... good grief. I work for the State of WV, not the cartel. 2 stars only because when I can get in the folks are friendly.
