      THIS IS THE WORST SECU BANK. This bank will hold YOUR money if they are not comfortable with the amount of the check or the person depositing the money. If possible, complete your NCSECU banking elsewhere or you may experience extended holds on your account.

      My wife and I chose to get our mortgage through SECU at this location. After a long process, the appraiser that was hired by SECU for the purchase made mistakes and the purchase was delayed several weeks. This had a cascading effect, including forcing us to delay putting our existing house on the market until the holidays, which makes it very difficult to sell. This forced us to live out of boxes with 3 small children (including a newborn) for much longer than we would have had to. All of this took place after we were assured, in no uncertain terms, that everything was settled with the appraisal. Several members of the management team offered no compensation (beyond a refund for the already faulty work) for the stress and inconvenience caused by someone they hired to do a job. After several calls and inquiries, they were unwilling to do anything to make it right. Due to these issues, I cannot recommend that anyone use this location, or any SECU.
