      Where to start. If you are buying a house in western NY, DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT use Stewart Title Company. Their Belmont, NY office is filled with the most incompetent, unprofessional oxygen thieves I have ever had to deal with. They do not answer the phone, return calls or emails. Due to their incompetency it has taken almost a month an a half to get a closing date for our house. Please for the love of god, learn from my experience and find a different Title company for any real-estate needs. Not only was the title pack incomplete after over a month it was wrought with errors and of course they took their time correcting the issues causing further delays that resulted in an increase in closing costs. Everyone in the Belmont, NY office should be fired immediately.
