  SENIOR CONSUMERS BEWARE! STIFEL STOCKBROKER DON VINCENTI MIGHT HOLD YOUR MONEY HOSTAGE! It happened to my family. Donald A. Vincenti, CFP is the branch manager and First Vice President of Investments at the Fresno, California location of the investment/brokerage firm Stifel, Nicolaus & Co. Inc. “Stifel”. Donald A. Vincenti was recommended to my Stepfather by his CPA, Terence D. Miller. Vincenti transferred all of stocks owned by my Stepfather and my Mother from the brokerage company Computershare to Stifel. On 08/10/2016, my Stepfather instructed Vincenti to transfer all of the assets into a JTWROS (joint) account. My Stepfather died shockingly on 11/26/2016. During my Stepfather’s time as a Stifel client, he was unable to access a single penny from his accounts. Donald A. Vincenti held the money hostage and made excuses for not giving my Stepfather and my Mother access to their money. Neither my Stepfather nor my Mother were ever issued the checkbooks and debit cards that they were promised. The 08/10/2016 stock transfer directive to place all assets into the joint tenancy account was never completed by Vincenti or his staff at Stifel. It’s now 2020 and Donald A. Vincenti along with the Stifel corporation continue to refuse to grant access of the accounts to my Mother. When we phone or stop by the Stifel office, we are met with hostility, coarse language, shouting and threats; all of which have been audio recorded and transcribed. This office is vicious with their verbal abuse of senior clients. Further, Vincenti’s assistant/“Operations Coordinator” intentionally has unlawfully titled the accounts as “deceased” accounts which prevents the assets to be transferred from Stifel to a legitimate brokerage, effectively holding the money hostage. PLEASE LET OUR ORDEAL SERVE AS A CAUTIONARY NOTE: •BE VERY CAREFUL ABOUT WHOM YOU BANK. •RESEARCH LOCAL BUSINESSES THOROUGHLY. •KEEP YOUR MONEY AND YOUR FAMILY SAFE BY NOT GIVING YOUR BUSINESS TO THIS STIFEL OFFICE. •AVOID THE DONALD A. VINCENTI’S OF THE WORLD AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A COMPETENT AND TRUSTWORTHY STOCKBROKER.
