  Our experience with Stonecrest Financial was extremely informative. Chrissy helped us out tremendously. Her knowledge was spot on. She talked to us as if we were friends not just another client.   This company is located in San Jose, CA but owns property in Louisville KY. I happen to live next door to one of their properties, which is essentially just a vacant lot. They never maintain the property. Neighbors are constantly having to call the city for property maintenance issues. They have over $20,000 worth of liens by the city for property maintenance alone. Also, they are not at all interested in maintaining the property or about the concerns of the neighborhood because they don’t live here and don’t have to deal with the consequences of their actions. When you call, they claim they don’t own the property, yet you can easily look up on the PVA website and Jefferson County Register of deeds that it is owned by Stonecrest LLC c/o Jon Freeman with an address exactly matching Stone Crest Financial in San Jose. Also want to point out that this property is located in the West End of Louisville KY. This is a historically black community that has been the victim of red lining, environmental injustice and is currently a food desert. The least these people could do as good neighbors is maintain their property so that WE don't have to deal with it along with everything else. We've had enough. I have reached out to Erica Lutjens and Liz Cortez multiple times about this. They do not return phone calls or emails and are always conveniently unavailable. Shocker. The response from the company below is a lie and a joke and I will not be removing my review.

  Hello Riece, Stonecrest Financial is a private money lender that only lends in CA and does not own any real estate. The owner has other businesses that involve real estate in other states, and we rely on realtors and contractors to help us manage the properties.   This company funded a purchase of our home through Willow Way LLC with a Texas Deed without a warranty. Purchased this deed from Bank of America which took over Countrywide toxic securities. The owner of this company also owns Willow Way LLC and many other companies. After they completed this conspicuous transaction of our home, Willow Way LLC moved for a non- monetary eviction of our home. The eviction took place at the height of the Pandemic. I'm 71 years old. My wife is 66 years old. We both are disabled Army Veterans. The eviction nearly killed us. We both were homeless temporarily. This and its owner need to be thoroughly investigated by State and Federal authorities.
