If I could give 0 stars I would. I am a Realtor and had a client work with this lender. I try to be very fair and give the benefit of the doubt to everyone. I would say it is potentially just one bad employee, however I talked with multiple employees and every time I tried to call I got put into a phone tree. They refused to let me speak with a supervisor also. I talked my client down several times from this lenders behavior all throughout the transaction. They refuse to give their clients the appraisal until closing. The communication is terrible. On our closing day they ghosted my title company. My deal ended up taking over 45 days and had to be extended 3 different times due to Stratton's incompetence and inability to perform. Also last minute they changed my clients loan from a 30 year with 5% interest to a 1 year interest only loan with a rate of 9%. They have high ratings (I am sure they are bought) but I would strongly recommend NOT using this company. They are not professional, non-responsive, rude, and have no one's interests in mind but their own. Truly a nightmare to work with. I work with a LOT of lenders and a LOT of people and I have NEVER left a negative review anywhere until this. beware!

Brokers nightmare. I introduced a client and they would no longer accept me in the conversations. I am not saying they are as horrible with direct retail clients... my client hated them and asked me why I sent the deal there. I am not a hater. My real name is up there. Their are not broker friendly. DO NOT SEND YOUR CLIENTS THERE. financially speaking they seem to be honest. They did contact me to ask about my fee to add it to the Hud. fair is fair
