Make sure you get a print out of everything you ask for and understand what you are signing. Make sure the person you are working with understands what you are asking as well.Unfortunately, when it comes to death matters it’s your word against theirs and their hands are always “tied” and if document was not filed correctly the client is the only one that suffers consequences. There is no accountability just “it wasn’t documented” even when they can see the document was general and not specific. I wish there was a better way to hold their feet to the fire.Death is hard enough, make sure they do what you ask so you don’t have to deal with mess afterwords. Branch manager was nice but like I said “their hands are tied.”
