      We visited Synovus Bank recently and opened 2 accounts with Mary Waters. We could not be more pleased with the friendly and welcoming service we received. We were looking for a friendly bank to do business with and I think we found it in Synovus. Thank you Mary! EDIT: I have edited my review lower not because of the local bank employees, but because of Synovus Bank methods of doing business. Most of the local employees were great. As far as Synovus Bank goes, I don't know how they stay in business. You are treated like a criminal. After opening accounts I went to the drive thru to deposit a check. Instead of being pleased with my money, I waited for approx. 10 minutes for the teller to give me a printed form telling me I could not withdraw the money for a certain number of days. They pay little interest on your savings or checking, and their loan rates are high. We closed our accounts and have moved on. Synovus needs to be more customer centered.
