So- let me preface this by saying I have not yet rectified this, but have attempted to. I have cashed my paychecks/deposited them here several times with no issue. Yesterday night, I did what I normally do with this branches wonky hours, and stuck it in their night drop. Today I expected to have access to my funds. Nope. Instead, I checked throughout the day and it was in my account but not yet available. This branch placed a hold on my paycheck and left me with less than $15. Since this branch decided to only be open from 11am-4pm unlike every other branch which is open 9-5, I got off work at 6 and they were closed. So I called member services. Member services said they have no access to the reason why the branch put a hold on my check, only the branch does and they’re closed. Now I am stuck wondering how I’m going to pay bills, and the only thing I can do is wait. Mind you I called and was told they would make sure my check was put in my account this morning. I’ve worked for the employer who wrote me the paycheck since April. Nothing changed. I am hopeful we can fix this issue, as it has left me with not only a bad taste in my mouth, but scrambling to make ends meet. It’s not about the “funds availability disclosures” that I signed. It’s about the fact you had no issue cashing checks like this in the past and all of a sudden a week later you decide to place a hold on it until Saturday. Hoping I can find time in my busy workday to call the branch manager directly, because there’s only a 5 hour window that they’re actually open at this branch. Unbelievable. I will edit my review upon the resolution of this.
