Hi! This is actually for the new E Carmel Dr location since I am not seeing it on Google yet to add my review. I'm not sure of his name (I believe it was Ty if I remember correctly?), however the gentleman that helped me today 6/6 was fantastic! I came in upset due to a misunderstanding and he was extremely helpful and patient until I was able to understand. I've been to this new location a few times now and it has always been helpful! Please share this with that team, thank you!

      Response from the owner

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience, Myra! We're very glad to be of service and are happy that team members like Ty take the time to help meet our members' needs. We're still working with Google to find out why the East Carmel Drive location isn't showing up consistently in the search results and hope to have that resolved as soon as possible. In the meantime, please know that we have shared your kind words with the team there, with a special shout out to Ty! Have a great week!

Staff was very friendly at Grand Opening! However, it has been all bad since then. I tried my new Debit Card at Kroger. . .did not work! It took 7 minutes for different Kroger employees to get the card to work. They said Kroger and Master Card are having a dispute and I will continue to have trouble. Today I tried the card again at Kroger. More trouble and more of my time wasted! Same story. . . dispute between Kroger and Master Card. However, finally someone from the service desk discovered a way to get the card to work. Are you ready for this. . . insert the card (BACKWARDS) and wait 2 seconds: pull out card: insert the card a second time(BACKWARDS) and wait 2 seconds: pull out card: insert the card a third time (BACKWARDS) and wait 2 seconds: pull out card: now slide the card using the strip and push the bottom, right button. It worked!!!!!!!!!!! Although I was tired of this entire snafu, I purchased another item, so I could try this nonsense myself. Yep! It worked!!!!!!!! However, life is too short to follow this routine as the line of customers grows behind me! TCU, what's up with this card?

      Response from the owner

Hi, Barbara. One of our team members is trying to contact you and left a voicemail yesterday. We're very sorry about all the frustration using your TCU Debit Card at Kroger. To our knowledge, there isn't any dispute between Mastercard and Kroger that would cause the problem you're experiencing. Until our team member can speak with you directly to see if it's something different, we're going to go out on a limb and say the problem you're experiencing has to do with Kroger's recent decision to no longer allow customers to use their DEBIT cards to perform CREDIT transactions. Debit cards (no matter whose) require a PIN at Kroger. We created a link that will take you to the page on Kroger's website explaining their decision: tcunet.com/kroger. The Kroger staff's instructions to "trick" the card reader certainly works. But we would never want you or any of our members to have to go through that every time. Plus, it bypasses the enhanced security of the built-in chip. Again, we're making an assumption about the problem you're having based on what we know about Kroger's handling of debit card transactions. If you're experiencing a different problem, hopefully our team member can provide the best solution when the two of you have a chance to connect. All our best to you!

No longer a bank that's willing to work with other credit unions through shared branching.

      Response from the owner

Hello, Greg. TCU still does participate in CO-OP shared branching. The shared branching services that previously were available at our Meijer branch were recently relocated to our new full-service branch at 635 E. Carmel Drive. We apologize for the inconvenience, but invite you to visit the new branch if you require shared branching services. Thank you!
