      Great staff! Don’t quite understand why the rating is so low here, but I’ve always received great service.

      After waiting a half hour for my 10 am appointment for a signature guarantee - watching 2/3 of the tellers work with their masks pulled down under their noses the whole time - the manager tried to tell me that I needed a notary, not a signature guarantee, on US Treasury form 1522 for redeeming savings bonds in an estate, and that she had filled out "lots of these forms." The form instructions state "Authorized certifying officers are available at financial institutions, including credit unions, in the United States. Certification by a notary isn’t acceptable." When I read the instructions aloud, she said "that's enough." She also told me that there wasn't space on the form for her medallion; I had to point it out to her on the page. She did provide the signature guarantee, but it was a weird and unpleasant encounter. I'm glad 99% of my transactions with TD Bank are online.
