  I had the worst experience here! I was racially profiled and denied to open an account because my paystub did not show the location where I work at. Presented all the forms they asked for from W2, DL, State, and 2 recent Paystubs! I work for a major Telecommunication company. What major company would put the store address of the store location i work at on my paystub?? Makes no sense! This was Poor customer service! To top it off I called the location after I left and asked what I need to bring they said DL and a recent paystub! unacceptable!

  Hi Jose. I am sorry that your experience was less than desirable. I spoke with our branch manager and it appears that we did not do a good job of explaining what items were needed for identity verification and why. We should have made sure you understood the process when visiting in-branch as well as during your follow-up phone call. Tech Credit Union is community chartered, which allows us to only accept new members who live or work in the communities in which we are approved to serve. Our branch staff was needing additional information to qualify you and that is why they were trying so many different avenues to find membership eligibility.
