Received one of those common spam mortgage letters beginning with 'Re:[Your Lender]' which has nothing to do with our lender. The only factual info on the letter is my name and address. That is it. They aren't even registered to do business in California. Nowhere on the letter if their license # for our State. Everything else is just guesswork to make it look better than what you get. Do everyone a favor and just ask your current lender for a better deal, or look around for an honest lender, not someone who harvests names from the County records.
