Taking my money to Shell Federal Credit Union where they offer FREE CHECKING, with no minimum balance. I've been a member of this credit union for 28 years. I found out today that TBCU is charging members $8 a month if their checking account balance falls below $100. Trying to pass this off by claiming it comes with new "perks" sounds more like something a big bank would do, and not a credit union. I would imagine that if someone can't keep $100 in their account, they surely can't afford an $8 fee. Very disappointed!!!
