Our small business was being audited, and we were recommended to the Bonadio Group as being one of the leading accounting firms in Syracuse. It started out well enough, but the night before the actual audit our accountant quit. The one who took over was downright hostile about having to pick up someone else's work. She said that all the work that had been done on the file was not how she wanted to proceed so we were billed a hefty sum of money (many thousands of dollars) with a disappointing result. Unless you have enough money to get their attention, stay away. They bill like a NYC attorney's office, but for the smaller client, they DO NOT deliver result, just invoices. The response below is a joke. I emailed them several times to review the charges and they never responded. Instead, they billed him around $10,000 to assist with the audit and then turned the account over to collection. AVOID THIS FIRM.
