      I have always been anti bank bc I have had some very bad experiences in the past with banks. I have now been with TN credit union for 2 years and they are awesome. They are friendly, willing to help in anyway they can, and just overall awesome. If you want a great bank they are the one to choose.

      The Tennessee Credit Union offers shared branching. I am a member of an out-of-state credit union, and use the Johnson City branch regularly. Staff are very helpful, friendly and courteous, they treat you like a member, no matter if you are actually only using their branch as a member of another CU. Avoid egregious bank fees, join The Tennessee Credit Union or another local credit union.
