If you have the opportunity to work with the Tyler Osby Team, jump on it! I was deciding between a local credit union ARM loan and a conventional loan with Fairway. Tyler's team was able to get me an IFA closing costs grant that the local place couldn't offer, and that plus their customer service and myriad positive reviews swayed my choice in their favor. When we sent my offer to the sellers, their agent was happy with my choice of lender. They're super responsive and make things as easy on their clients as possible, providing a document upload and sharing portal, pre-written explanation letters that you just need to e-sign, and a hybrid closing is available that allows you to sign all the mortgage docs before your actual closing appointment. My in-office settlement took literally 20 minutes - I spent more time chatting with my RE agent and the title agent before and after than actually signing documents. It was also my RE agent's first time working with the Tyler Osby Team, and she was very pleased with how smoothly everything went. In short, I have nothing but good things to say about my experience.
