      Buying your 1st home is suppose to be a great experience but with Chris Davenport it was a complete nightmare! Today lending has to be a government funded business because “No” work is being done at that company. After being pre-approved for $185k (pre-approval letter from company also) we found a house to purchase. We submitted paperwork for 2 months straight and got the run around for 2 months straight. Chris blaming underwriting & vice versa. Never returned our calls in a timely manner and after 3 months of the run around and turning in paperwork, today lending told us that we only qualified for $110k. (Took them 3 months, several faxes & numerous paperwork for them to tell us that??). Oh yeah that was after the $500 appraisal on the house that we wanted. (Money lost). We went to supreme lending and closed on the same house in 3 weeks! Don’t waste your time & effort with today lending or Chris Davenport & his staff. Just look as the recent reviews. Great reviews 5yrs + ago but recently 1star service!
