  I am writing this review as a real estate investor who has been trying to complete a very big project during the times of Covid-19. I contacted them in mid April during the worst times of covid when there was a strict moratorium on construction in my county that completely halted my project for 3 months. I advised that I did not have the money to pay for the interest only payments as my husband and I were affected by the pandemic as were our contractors. I was promised that my interest would be lowered 3 points after submission of all of my hardship documents. It was never done. I then advised them that I would not be done on time since there was a moratorium and they always told me that that would not be a problem and that we would deal with it when needed. They never mentioned the astronomical fee that I would later be charged when I requested the extension to finish my property (close to $5,000). I begged and pleaded for them to do the ETHICAL thing and waive this fee as we were the hardest hit county besides NYC. No such courtesy was given to me. I was offered to have my past due payments deducted from my draw (as I had already put up $100,000 of my own cash to complete the project) and I agreed. I paid the extension fee, had my inspection done and have complied with everything they have asked of me and I'm still waiting for my wire transfer a few weeks later. This company is a COMPLETE SCAM! They will hold your money hostage so that you can pay them fees and will make you jump through every single hoop possible to get your money to finish your project. They will not answer your phone call and the entire process is so confusing and there are many different parties involved that you do not even know who to speak with. Again, nobody calls you back besides people who then have to go to others to get you an answer that takes days to get back. As a real estate investor who needs efficiency, this is not the hard money lender that you should use. They will hold your money hostage and will not pay you on time. Please do not make the same mistake i made.
