  Andres Melgar at Torrey Pines Bank is a true Banker. He is sophisticated, knowledgeable, and knows how to help business owners, real estate developers and property owners accomplish their goals. Andres has a wide network of professionals which allows him to serve almost every business owner or investors needs. I have known Andres for years now and I am consistently amazed at how he and Torrey Pines bank are able to find solutions for their clients. As a real estate broker, I rely on referring only the best professionals in San Diego and I never hesitate to refer Andres. Once a client with Torrey Pines Bank and Andres Melgar....you are a client for life!

  This is probably the most ridiculous bank I have ever been in. My father brought me to this bank to get an antique bracelet out from his safety deposit box for my mother’s birthday. It literally took over an hour for the staff to “add me in their system” before they would allow him to have access to his own safety deposit box. Seven employees walking around doing nothing but shuffling papers. The whole experience was surreal. We will be moving our safety deposit box in short order. It’s remarkable they seem miffed why a customer does not think waiting an hour for them to “add a co-signer” seems a bit unreasonable.
