  I emailed and called at least 5 surveyors and I either had no follow-up from the company or no response altogether. I sent Total Geo Data a  message through thumbtack on a Saturday and I received a quote the very same day within an hour or so. On Tuesday I let them know that I wanted to go with them and they had someone out that same week. My survey was not as straightforward as most surveys because they could not locate the pins on my property. This required them to have to come back twice, for a total of three times, in order to complete the survey. Once Scott was finished, he sent me photos of where the markings were and an apology for taking longer than usual, even though this was due to something beyond his control. Surveying my house was very time-consuming for them and yet they did not increase their price. They stayed in communication with me and let me know what was going on with my property. This company showed professionalism, had the best price point and was very transparent with their work. Because I am a single female, I've had contractors try and take advantage of me but not this company and I truly appreciate that.

  John and his team at TGD Surveying have been a pleasure to work with. I have a large lot with lots of trees and dense underbrush. After several quotes, it was clear that TGD Surveying would provide the best value. They were equally responsive and helped to answer all of my questions along the way. John was even able to provide raw CAD files in a format that my home designer was able to use to create the site plan. I have been very pleased with the work they have done over the years, to include: initial survey for purchase with topographical info included, flood plain markings for home construction permits, final survey after home construction for financing and permits, and lot line marking for fence installation. I recommend TGD Surveying to anyone looking for quality work at a reasonable rate.

  If you're looking for a land surveyor, John is a great guy to work with. He does fair business & is a genuine, caring guy.
