  Zero stars! I can't imagine a worse customer service experience. After a total loss house fire on 4/15/22 I discovered that Towne Mortgage had put in place a Lender Placed policy at the exact same premium that I had through my insurance company so I wouldn't notice the change. This was 3+ years ago and they continued to renew the policy collecting the profits on this scam they have in place with Proctor Insurance. Never communicated the change to me other than two letters in 2018 that they claim they sent via USPS. No phone call, no email, no communication outside of the minimum required by law. If that's the experience you feel you deserve from your Mortgage lender then this is the Company for you. If not, move your loan away from Towne Mortgage ASAP! It took 5+ weeks for them to payoff my loan via Proctor Insurance and now that I'm trying to get the fire damaged home out of my name I continue to get the runaround from this completely inept Organization. I've had to explain processes and needs to every individual I've dealt with at Towne Mortgage. Their so called Specialists have no idea what they're doing and have consistently let my pleas to have this nightmare experience closed out go unanswered. If you expect any reasonable level of Customer Service, Sense of Urgency, or general competency from your Mortgage Lender I highly suggest never dealing with this Organization. Their system is antiquated, their people incompetent, and their processes slow and unreliable even when having the steps needed explained in detail to their employees. I cannot express enough the fact that you are at risk by utilizing Towne Mortgage as your lender. They prioritize profits over people like any Company but they do so in manner that blurs the line of legality and decency.

  WE are HUGE fans of Yvonne and Towne Mortgage! She cares deeply about each loan. She is a constant resource to us. We think her team of UWs are GREAT. They are smart and very capable! Yvonne and her team know how to get things done and get them done ON TIME! Yvonne is a SUPER JOY to work with. I cannot rate her any higher than I have. 10+++++++. We HIGHLY recommend her with Towne Mortgage.
