I've just finished my 6th year leasing from Toyota Financial Services. Today, we received confirmation that the title for our car is in the mail to our credit union and our TFS account is closed. I have never been so excited and relieved to have ended my business relationship with a company. It'll be tough to condense our experiences into this review, so I'll just touch on the biggest problems. While they have a few very kind individuals in customer service, TFS' overall poor service, sloppy account management, terrible technical support, and unreliable payment system (online and via phone) vastly outweigh any positives. The automatic monthly payment system was horrible and payments were rarely deducted. We frequently received payment confirmation emails and texts without the money being withdrawn and received confirmation from our banks that TFS did not attempt a withdrawal. Fees were added and TFS promised to waive them due to the technical difficulties, but rarely waived them. We had to constantly fight with this company just to get them to take our regular monthly payments. The phone payment system and website payment system are not connected at all, so TFS staff cannot confirm any payments listed on the TFS website. We've complained many times but were never transferred to management/supervisory staff and were told they would have a manager contact us "in the next few days" on several occasions, but never, ever, ever received any kind of communication. We even tried to submit these concerns through the TFS website to find that the submission button does not work. We screen recorded my attempts to submit information through the TFS website on different browsers to show that the support pages are not working. Eventually, my wife and I began putting our calls with TFS on speaker so that our friends and family in the room could hear the contradictory statements and deceptive practices we so frequently encountered in our time working with Toyota Financial Services. During the lease buyout process, Toyota Financial Services would not provide a buyout package with the correct spelling of my name, insisting that I had printed a different spelling of my last name on the lease documents. I confirmed that my name was spelled correctly on all of the leasing documents, application for certificate of title, registration, etc., etc., etc., - These being printed documents from Toyota. They insisted that I needed to fill out a legal change of name form at minimum to have the name on the buyout package changed to match the name on every other document I have ever received or signed from Toyota Financial. They truly made every step from signing the lease through the buyout package an absolute nightmare, and this was all due to Toyota Financial Services' negligence. I highly recommend that you avoid this company!

Absolutely the worst auto loan company. Since I purchased my Toyota last February, their website has been down, and the mobile app never works. My recurring payments are always returned and I end up with late fees. I'd rather be blind in my left eye than take out another loan with Toyota Financial Services.

I called Lexus financial regarding the miles on my lease. I did go over my miles, and the millage surcharge amount is over 3,500. I asked Bernard (Lexus financial Rep) if he can waive the surcharge amount, since I am low on cash due to purchase my first home. I explained I just leased a new Toyota vehicle, and that I’ve have leased numerous Toyota Vehicles in the past. Since I was not able to afford a new Lexus, due to my current financial situation. Bernard told me to contact the dealer, but the Herb Chambers Lexus Of Hingham General Manager “Jason Herndon”. Told me to contact Lexus financial. In order words I was getting the run around, no one was able to help. I even called Jason Herndon back, and left him a message. I still have not heard back from Jason Herndon. I needed to speak with Jason since a family member agreed to purchase the Lexus. This experience has opened my eyes, to what customers mean to Toyota/Lexus. For Toyota/Lexus a customer loyalty does not mean anything, that speaks volumes about a company. The new 2019 highlander that I just leased on the 28th of July, will be my last Toyota/Lexus.
