  I had the privilege of working with Mike Kurvers and Steve Dow from Tradition on my recent home purchase. If you need a lender in the Twin Cities Area I highly recommend them! Tradition was part of my "A" team I had for my home purchase and wow were they amazing! The main reason I chose Tradition was because of their communication and timeliness. Any question I had it was answered quickly and efficiently, obtaining quotes for homes I was seeing was simple. The best part? Tradition was able to offer me a two-week close period which allowed for my offer to be competitive. Two week closes are not the norm, but I will be forever grateful to Tradition for their amazing hard work on this. The team at Tradition was extremely supportive all the way through close!

  Don't say your open till 5 and then close 20 minutes early because it's a Friday. Total BS.

  Horrible; poor communication; lack of professionalism Fill out all the the need paperwork in February and ask Nick Hanson for a workup of all the fees for the mortgage and he simply stated it will cost about 3% to 4% of the loan. He did not even send out a pre-approval letter. He said if you find a home simply give my business card to the agent to start the process. He did not even given the mortgage company's name nor the interest rate! We would have to wait one or two days for him to even call back. There were even two times he never returned our calls. Reapplied again in September of 2019 and never heard from Nick Hanson nor any other loan "officer." Apparently our loan amount was not providing enough revenue for Nick or anyone at Tradition to bother to service us. One of the most worthless mortgage firm I have ever engaged. The only good thing from them was getting an email on my birthday.
