  Banker Zach is great. Listened to me and took care of me. I was seriously thinking about going to an online bank but Zach convinced me to stay with SunTrust/trust bc of his customer service and solving my problems.

  Ive been a customer for at least 7 years and they wanted to charge me $10 for 2 money orders. 🙄 I had to make an extra trip to Publix to pay 99 cents. Charging $5 for a small piece of paper shows they really don't value their customers at all. Very disappointing. Signed, a very unhappy customer. 🤬

  SunTrust. I have been unhappy with Sun Trust for a while now. They are merging with BB&T and it is not any better! It takes about an hour and a half to get through to anyone on the phone. SunTrust was never THIS bad but this merger is supposed to be a better banking experience and it has gotten worse! They sent us an email to switch over to Truist, their new name, and you log on and the app is completely different than the old SunTrust app, which happened to be very good, to this app. We had no time to play the the app or get familiar with it. It is like here it is and that's it. It is not user friendly. I have auto pay for my bills and in the Sun Trust app, you could easily go in and change the amount of money that you are sending and accept and you were done. This app, which I found out after the fact, defaults to the date when you make the change. It messed me up, cause my bills to go through on the 22nd instead of December 7th. Everything would have bounced if it was not for my Sister helping me out some. Going into the bank they could not even do a stop payment to avoid this potential disaster. SunTrust WAS a good bank and I've been there for a very long time. The last few years, they have gone down the sink and they are not getting any better. If you are thinking about going with Truist, there new name. I will tell you this it is NOT a better banking experience. It has a difficult app and the customer service via phone, I would give a double FF because wait times are over an hour. Ridiculous, Unacceptable. I would NOT recommend this bank for anything. Truist is NOT going to be any better unless they make immediate changes to their app and their phone service! The merge is not any better! Sun Trust should have stayed the same and be a Florida Bank as they have been.
