  Left my bb&t card in machine when making cash deposit last night. Called this morning to see if I could retrieve it. They said they are collected twice a week by another company and destroyed. All they offered was to cut off my card which I can do on my own through the app. Didn’t offer to order a new one or give replacement. Immediately called the Amherst branch who found it odd they could not retrieve my card and must be the only branch to do things that way. They offered for me to come in so I could get a replacement ordered and a temporary one to use while waiting without me even having to ask. Berryville Ave branch just has the hurry and get them off the phone attitude. I’d def avoid and go to a branch who actually cares to help you out!

  I was a customer for bb&t five months ago, I was told that i had to leave cause of the questions about them taking my money cause my balance did not add up, I was given a no trespassing notice and they froze my account. I called and asked how can I get my money back they said they would mail it to me I said ok. Five months have passed since then and none of my money was mailed to me. It wasn't a substantial amount but it's the point that matters a bank shouldn't be steeling my money well no one should have their money stolen , but the fact that they still have it shows that there is corruption and stealing going on. I called them and they said you never had any money on your account when you left , but I did I am not doing this to cause problems only to tell the truth about bb&t they are not a clean business so beware and go to any other bank you'll save on your savings account and won't have to pay major fees that bb&t charges you. Remember the Wall Street and bank crash in 2008 yeah they are trying to build revenue up in any way and yes I mean by stealing your money even if it's $1.00 here from this person, and another dollar from the next person. So beware I warned you and if they don't pay my money back I'm going public with this. This has not just happened to me I know others who have said that they aren't a clean buissness at all and they too have dealt with money issues there . So again beware I warned you and I am trying to help out people who earn their money and think their money is safe here cause it's not. Btw I had to put one star on the bank review or they wouldn't post my problem.lol
