      This Gatlinburg branch has gone way down hill in the last 6 months. Most of the tellers desperately need customer service training. The new lady ( no name tag) in drive-thru yesterday ( 05/27/22) is awful. Her attitude, and facial expressions are not acceptable. I expect to be treated with respect, kindness and dignity when staff members are handling my financial transactions. Just a smile would have been great.

      I went to BB&T in Gatlinburg, TN to do a wire transfer this morning. The teller’s name is Lady. From the moment I arrived, I told her that I want to do a wire transfer and that I have my ID and debit card. She told me that she wanted to see my passport and visa. So, I repeated myself and told her that I have an ID but she insisted that she wants a passport and a visa. I informed her that I am using my ID. So I gave her my state learner permit with my debit card. Lady made me feel like I am an illegal alien and as if she’s an immigration officer as she was adamant that she wants passport and visa even though I had told her before and after that I will be using an ID. I didn’t know that to do a transaction, BB&T wants to see passport and visa even though you have another form of identification. Lady told me the fee for the transaction more than once as if I had objected the first time. I felt DISCRIMINATED as well as RACIALLY PROFILED by the teller, Lady. Even after expressing how she made me feel, there was no apology from her. I spoke to the operations manager and he apologized. Then on my way back home, the branch manager, MIRNA RODRIGUEZ-MONTOYA called me cursing me out, so rude and unprofessional. She wouldn’t even listened to what I had to say. Then stated that she will close my account. No problem unprofessional MIRNA, plenty of financial institutions in AMERICA!!
