      I visited the Mount Dora branch this afternoon. The tellers were very welcoming. Tom assisted me - handled every detail. Professional, personable and prompt! This was my second great customer service experience with SunTrust today - with two different branches. Today begins the final transition from SunTrust to Truist. Missing the SunTrust brand already 💔 but thrilled the great employees will continue to provide service. I see negative reviews. I get it - it's not always perfect. But when we get it right, it's nice to know it. So from me to SunTrust... thank you 🙏 for many, many great years providing our banking needs; and appreciation to the SunTrust staff for ALL you do❣️ God bless the 'new', moving forward with Tru!

      Absolutely the worst bank out there. We had a return check that was written to us. Our account never went negative. We deposited a different check a couple weeks later and they held our funds for over 2 weeks before they cleared them. Now they are closing my account do to the return check that I had the funds to cover. I wouldn’t bank there if I were you.

      The absolute worse merger SunTrust could've done! Constantly making mistakes, app never works, they never take responsibility for anything. I've worked in banking over 13 years, and now work in government, still dealing with them on that end, and they're still messing up Daily!!! I'm talking about this bank Truist as a whole, not necessarily one particular branch!!
