      Cant wait to close my account…they stunk as bbt in waynesville (took 7 weeks to deny an investment property loan, lost out on deal while waiting even after several calls and in person visits) Now in sylva all google searches show address on Grindstaff…it’s an empty building, all phone calls go to automated voice messages…it offers the “new” number but you get same voice prompts. Tried calling the waynesville branch…same. What a way to do business.

      I had an issue with QuadPay charging me 4 times and they take 2 days to refund, but what was worse was watching the bank restack transactions, and then remove transactions, and even remove 2 sentences in their normal emails in response. I emailed manager and heard nothing back but watched as she took the sentence that I have 7 days BEFORE a fee would be charged out of the next overdraft fee. I was charged several which I paid but never again. No personalization. I have been a bank shopper before and this bank's manager is the worst! People don't exist - only numbers. Can't wait to close this account and switch to another bank. However, when I research reviews, it looks like most banks are losing the old time customer service approach to knowing their customers. Online banking = online stacking to make the most for the bank.
