      Unfortunately, this last year's merger seems to have made banking with TRUIST quite difficult. The in-person branches that are left are not reliably open and they also appear understaffed. The online services are a bit difficult to navigate and they do become unavailable quite often. There is no customer service chat or email; only phone lines which seem to always have at least a 60 minute wait (last 3-4 times I have called it was over an hour wait time). I will likely try to convince my family to move our accounts elsewhere as this feels like a huge financial risk -- what if we need help immediately for something time-sensitive? I am currently waiting on several tax forms that should have already been sent and I cannot contact anyone via phone (tried two local branches and the customer service line) about why the tax forms are showing as 'unavailable' online. Judging by BBB complaints and other reviews, this bank is looking pretty poor right now.

      Went with BB&T in 2004 because it was in the 3 cities I owned homes and have been Very Happy with them. Now living in Sylva NC I just discovered Truist has closed that branch...shame on you, I will not drive 1 1/2 hour round trip to do banking And I do not have access to internet here in the mountains! I will be moving All my accounts!
