      I am new to the area and my usual bank is 1,300 miles away. I was struggling to find any local bank that would cash my savings bonds without me being a customer, excessive waiting periods after becoming a member (12 months?!), or charging me a fee to cash them. Truist was the fourth bank I tried and I should have just gone to them first! Diana helped me immediately and was able to cash the bonds without making me get an account (though after my positive experience, I’m now inclined to use Truist for my banking) or charging any fees. Diana was very friendly and welcoming and also very quick to get my bonds cashed. I will definitely be back to open an account when I have more time.

      Worst branch I have ever been to, so disorganized. The issues had nothing to do with the merging into Truist had all to do with incompetence with a branch manager that has less knowledge than his employees. I can see why friends told me to just take the drive and go to the Wickham branch. I can see why all the other branches have better reviews.
