The Twin Rivers Bank has a "fraud policy" that blocks your credit/debit card without notifying you, anytime your card is used in another State that you do not currently live in. However, we notified the staff at Twin River Bank when we had to leave the State for a family emergency. However, coming back home we were stranded 1300 miles away from home, in the middle of nowhere, and could not get gas for our vehicle because Twin River Bank blocked our credit/debit card due to their "fraud policy." And because it was on a weekend, this bank was closed, so we could not call to have it unblocked until Monday. And this bank does not have a 24-hour hotline to call when a situation like this happens. Most banks and/or credit unions have a 24-hour hotline that you can call if something bad happens to your debit/credit card, such as your card was stolen, which allows you to freeze your account immediately. Twin Rivers Bank does not have this service, so if your card was stolen on a weekend, and not used in another State, the thief could drain your account down to zero because you could not freeze your account because this bank is closed on the weekends.

We're very sorry that you had trouble recently. NOTE: The card is an ATM / Debit card (not a credit card) and our fraud service flagged the non-typical activity. You would have received a phone call to verify that it was you where you can block or accept the transaction. A message is left with a call back number if you aren't available to take the call. The VISA 24-hour 800 number is listed on our website. We work hard to ensure that our customer accounts are safe from fraudulent activity. Again, very sorry.
