  I applied for a personal loan about a month ago. Less than a week later I called to check on the status and was told my application was "recommended for approval" but that I wouldn't be able to sign the paperwork at this branch since it only has drive through service. They referred me to another branch (San Mateo) and I was contacted by the manager who told me they would be happy to take care of my loan. There was apparently some problem due to my recent change of address. After passing me around to 3 or 4 different loan officers who all assured me everything was fine I stopped trying to get a status update. It's been a month and no one has contacted me since. US Bank used to be wonderful when Jeannette was working there and this branch was open for normal banking. Has this bank gone downhill due to COVID or did they just stop trying to be a reasonably good bank?

  Complete waste of time. If you want to be treated with any amount of common courtesy as though you'd think a bank should treat you, go elsewhere. I am not surprised many other low reviews. The only star is for they recommended another bank so there you have it, otherwise you get a big fat 0. Thank you for recommending the other bank!
