  If you're the economic average Joe, like our family, in need of opening accounts, definitely ask for Kelly. He provides excellent customer service. Kelly is knowledgeable, personable, and is helping me work towards meeting financial goals, including working on my credit. Beforehand, I had experienced a woman at this branch who was condescending and cold towards me as well as an older gentleman opening an account with his social security. We've all had that experience in public of dealing with a frigid individual who should NOT be working in a customer service position. My prior experience with US Bank had always been positive, so while my veteran husband was put off, I was not. Undeterred, I made an appointment with Kelly at their El Camino branch in Safeway. Kelly is usually at the El Camino branch. As an office manager, the weekend and extended hours of the U.S. Bank are ideal for my schedule.

  So far no problems. The lady who helped me was so nice, so sweet, and took care of all my needs. I was at Millbrae branch before and did not like the customer service there at all. Or I should say lack of. They could not help me with what I needed, which was to finish opening a new account which I started on line. Reason was, because they were short staffed. All new accounts people went home. It was around noon when I went. Unheard of. I walked out thinking I should relocate to another bank. But then I came to San Mateo office. What a difference. I hope to be here for a long time.

  Excellent service. Darren and all of the other staff are very helpful, patient and supportive. I highly recommend this branch and bank to anyone looking to open a business bank account. Thank you!!!!
