      Very unhappy with my experience. I’m only giving 2 stars because the agent was responsive but otherwise their practice and procedures are awful. I submitted all necessary documents and was run around a bit on a FHA when I actually was more than qualified for a conventional (which I did get from another company and closed in less than 30 days which met our contract deadline). My guess, this company was pushing FHA since they are paid more on it, and didn’t fully look into all the necessary details of the place I was planning to buy (special fha documents, etc). Therefore when we were pushing through, they last minute required participation in a certain program my condo didn’t participate in. I was told this should have been checked on day one, not weeks later. Either way, the best thing that happened was their mistake and error, then I was able to find a mortgage company that handled it correctly, efficiently and quickly. I do not recommend this company and I’m disappointed my union does. I will be informing them of the experience as well and suggesting they no longer recommend Union Plus.

      Not competitive at all, very unclear, uncommunicative for YEARS. A real disappointment for someone who claims to be union-backed. There is absolutely zero incentive as a union member nor are these rate in any way better than or even close to anyone else. Your information will be sold to the highest bidder. If you're union, and they promised you the world and actually made good on it, good for you, doesn't seem to be the actual practice here.
