      I was not aware of the $36 overdraft fee for a basic debit account. After overdrafting my account $18, I was then slapped with a $36 overdraft fee. I don’t appreciate banks that play with my money when I don’t have a lot to begin with. I’ve been with United Bank for five years and the home bank is in Leesburg here at catoctin cir. Every time I talk to the manager Si she is the rudest most disrespectful banker I have ever met. If you want a good bank, go to the one in Purcellville at least. Completely disregards anything you have to say. At the end of the day, customer service means a lot when you’re dealing with my money! This manager makes me feel like I did something wrong. I had another similar horrible experience with her a couple months ago when calling about a paycheck issue. It’s not necessarily the issues in hand, but her lack of respect for her customers banking at her franchise. Welp, that’s the last time. You just lost a loyal customer. I Will be canceling my account immediately and banking elsewhere.
