  My husband and I purchased our first home through Lee. It was such a pleasure and Lee really was a cool guy!

  I have been in real estate for over 25 years and have never seen anything quite like the poor quality from this company. In a nutshell the home buyer made an offer on a home that had multiple offers. Lender said the buyer was qualified. Home buyer sold their home in Johnson County, KS to a cash buyer. United Mortgage denied their loan after requiring 2 appraisals performed by appraisers that United Mortgage chose. Both appraisals came in at the purchase price but they denied the loan anyway because they don't believe the two appraisers they chose. Now Mr. and Mrs. Homebuyer are homeless. Also, United Mortgage charged Mr. and Mrs. Homebuyer $1,000.00 to do the appraisals and are now without a home. I don't believe I have ever left a negative review before but this is really unfortunate for these people and I felt I had no other choice to warn people of the type of company they would be dealing with.

  Wow a Great Mortgage guy...they do exist! I don't normally like to leave reviews, but working with Robert O'Connor at United Mortgage for our purchase was such an excellent experience, that I just have to leave one. He was very courteous, respectful, knowledgeable and efficient. Got us a great deal (best rate and cost easily), with very little required down. Explained things well, so well in fact that I had zero questions as he lays everything out there. I was very satisfied and I can't recommend working with someone more!
