  I was referred to this credit union by my Lawyer after she had contacted a few credit unions to inquire about trust accounts. The customer service representative informed her that I could open a Trust account same day, which is why my lawyer recommended them to me first. I gave them a call to ask if I needed to schedule an appointment for opening the account and was told "No you don't need to schedule an appointment, you can just walk right in" So I did just that. These were both very important things for me since we had funding for the account coming about 5 days later. I went near the end of day, about 3:30pm on a Tuesday. They were busy in the drive through, but had 2 people being helped by tellers & 2 people being helped in bankers offices. I told the teller I needed to open a trust bank account to be met with a blank stare and a condescending "You need to schedule an appointment" The teller continued to be rude and condescending the rest of the encounter. The earliest appointment they had was a week later on the 8th. I scheduled it in case I couldn't open another account somewhere else sooner. The next day I went to OnPoint, with no appointment, didn't call them ahead of time to schedule or even check. I even went at the same time of day. They told me they could open it today as long as I had all the paperwork and could wait. The banker who helped me dropped what he was doing to help me and let me know he would rather stay late to finish his work if that meant helping me today. They sat me down with some water and 5 minutes later I was opening the account. The next week when the appointment with Unitus came and went they didn't even bother calling to see if I was running late or needed to reschedule. Terrible customer service with rude tellers and reps are all over the place with out of date or inaccurate information. Took my business else ware and I am much happier.

  This credit union is worse than the big banks. They will nickel and dime you to death, including opening an account and if your account is dormant they have the gaul to want to charge $5 a month.
