  UPDATE TO MY REVIEW - Unitus has been very proactive in responding to this review and has reached out via phone and email. They have been very nice. Thank you Unitus. I am still not able to access my cash beyond ATM limits. Unitus customer service is top notch but access to my money is also very important. The credit union should look into reopening shared branching relationships. I have been a member for over 25 years. It used to be a wonderful credit union. Unfortunately Unitus has lost all of their relationships with other co-op shared branches and no longer provide shared branching. I don't live in Portland and currently there is no way for me to access my money without driving to portland. This is unacceptable and unfortunately I will have to close my accounts. They have been a great company over the last 30 years and I've enjoyed working with their customer service team. Unfortunately being able to access my money is the most important thing for me in a bank. I have called multiple times to try to find a solution to this without any success. If there is a manager who reads this review please reach out to me if you have some way to reopen shared branching or provide access to my money beyond the ATM limits.

As other credit unions have increasingly discontinued Shared Branching services, our employees have taken on those extra calls and branch visits from non-Unitus members. Our decision to discontinue Shared Branching will preserve the standard of service excellence Unitus members expect and deserve.
