  My husband and my grandchildren have accounts with this bank and they are AMAZING, always friendly and want to help you anyway they can, highly recommend!!

  They are closing branches left and right. Does not inspire much confidence. Switched to a true local bank.

  Thank you for your feedback, Ms. Reichley. Univest was founded in Souderton, Montgomery County in 1876 and it is where our headquarters is still located. It has been nearly two years since we have closed a financial center and those closures were part of our plan to consolidate offices in close proximity to one another. Since 2016, we have opened nine new financial centers in the Lehigh Valley, Philadelphia and Lancaster, bringing our network to 39 financial centers. Univest remains committed to serving our local communities.

  This bank is awful. My husband has been a loyal customer for over 20 years yet they have taken away every perk he ever had. He used to get free checks (was told it was grandfathered on his account) last time he ordered checks, was charged over $50. When I questioned it an extremely rude woman basically just told me tough sh--! All interest has been taken from both checking and savings accounts. So instead of interest we get penalties (fees) if we don't have enough activity on savings. So we're punished if we don't put money in even if we don't have extra money. OR we are punished for not taking out money we really want to save. (The purpose of a "savings account"!) Makes no sense! Have had other issues also. We are looking into other banks. Will probably be switching soon.
