      Newer customer for just about a year. Switched from state farm. Some jackwagon put his car in reverse at a red light and backed into me. He had a no name insurance company and surprisingly took the blame..i called USAA to report the accident. Customer service was great. I also had the option of going directly through the other guys insurance or having USAA (at no penalty to me) handle the claim on my behalf. My car was fixed and it was a smooth experience. I couldn't ask for more in this situation.

      No surprise USAA is not BBB accredited and only has a 1 Star rating. Sadly, I have been banking with USAA for over 35 years.  Not only banking but home/auto insurance. Today I wanted to check with USAA about redeeming savings bonds, a service they no longer provide.  It took me 52 minutes on the phone speaking to Lola a work from home employee to get that answer.  I asked Lola to elevate my call she placed me on hold.  After 20 minutes on hold I got no response.  I tried to go to my on line account to file a grievance but automated system could only reply to simple question.  I then tried to use the Contact email tool only to be told "Banking" does not have that option. After 35 years I guess the retired military guy needs to select one of the many near by brick/mortar banks.   My spouse just got off the phone with US Bank, he called, immediately spoke to a person.  We were told I can have my name added to the account and redeem my bonds.  That call took less than 5 minutes.  US Bank 10/USAA Bank 0.

      They lied to me about payment date . Then canceled my auto insurance. Then told me to pay 78.00 to reinstate my policy. Paid that Then they said they could not reinstate. Must do another policy then tried getting 300.00 from me after deceiving me out of 78.00. I RECOMMEND STAYING AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE
