  I have banked with the USC Credit Union for years, and I have always been happy with the service that I have received. Recently, I needed to secure a car loan in a very short amount of time, and Angelina Ybarra (Member Relationship Specialist II) went above and beyond to make this happen for me. She was professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and kind. She answered my every email and call and even worked after hours to make sure that I was all squared away. I felt valued, heard, and supported. The USC Credit Union has my loyalty!

  TERRIBLE customer service. If you like waiting ON HOLD listening to terrible 1970's elevator music... this is YOUR BANK! They just transfer your call around from person to person until you eventually hang up.

  I've banked for 20 years with USCCU, from my earliest days in LA as a student at USC to present day. Overall, I've really liked banking with USCCU - the employees are really kind, and the location right off Flower St. is very convenient from the freeway. Back in the day I would have to go on campus to do banking, and these days its much easier with the many options. I financed 2 cars and 1 student loan with them, as well as my SBA grants. Additionally I've used their checking, savings, and money market accounts. I received great rates for all of these and Ken and Diana were amazing with helping me with the paperwork. My only complaints are: -some glitches in their online banking app caused a couple months of disarray in rendering my checking account. -Traveling internationally, I"ve been charged fees for using my debit card at ATMs by USCCU (a double down on fees already being charged by the ATMs abroad) -Their phone customer service has been pretty weak, as I've had over the last 20 years a couple instances of fraud on my account and both times its taken long wait times on the phone to reach assistance. -Along those lines, there's no features to change your PIN number on the app or get help with freezing a debit card when lost/stolen - you simply have to call the number For these reasons, I've recently switched to Charles Schwab to do most of my day-to-day banking (since they have zero ATM Fees and reimburse for travel fees). I'm still keeping one of my emergency fund accounts at USCCU but these days I'm needing more features from my bank for the day-to-day.
