We haven't actually stayed in the cabin yet as our trip is in November but Emily at Valle Crucis Log Cabin Rentals was FANTASTIC. She was such a big help when I was making my reservation and having service like that is a huge plus to me. Thank you so much Emily!! Can't wait for our trip.

My family came to town for a memorial service and we stayed in one of these cabins in Foscoe. I can’t speak for their other properties, obviously, but the one we stayed in showed a distinct lack of appropriate stewardship and authentic care. I get the sense that some out of town family enjoyed this cabin for a few years and has since lost interest, using it now as a cash cow. Please leave some houses for the rest of us, by the way. Scant flat pillows, low quality sheets, outdated appliances/electronics. Musty. Just a general sense of neglect. Superficially “nice” but not actually comfortable. Decor features a lot of moose for some reason (we don’t have those in the High Country but I can see why that’d be confusing to some)
