  Very spacious branch. Not crowded. Very helpful staff always. Put it this way, I visited three banks one day for similar work and only one place I could get it done in no time is this place.

  BEWARE TO ALL!! I've been a valley national costumer for 10+ years and I've been loyal and non problematic, I've never had any issues with them before until I opened an account with this branch in South Plainfield. Now I was a little skeptical because this isn't the branch that I usually worked with, in such with the Covid pandemic I had to come here since it was the closest near my house, long story short there was a fraud on my account which I had no part of and actually addressed it to them before it was taken into investigation. In addition, they first froze my account and when I addressed why, they told me not to worry that it will be "released" when everything was over with the investigation. While the investigation was still in progress they went into my savings without my knowledge and took the money out of my account which was the sum of the money taken by the scammers and later didn't want to talk to me when I addressed the issue, which was very wrong and disrespectful being that I opened the account with the staff members there, which are all familiar faces being that this is a small branch with little to none staff and costumers. Continuing on, I even went to the branch that I have a close relationship with, who both know me and my character, and that I would never be the person that this branch is trying to portray me as. They told me that what they're doing to me is wrong, and that they felt sorry and if they could help in any way they would, but this branch in specific has no control over this one in South Plainfield. Now I am fighting with this branch in particular, who stole from ME because they couldn't do they're jobs properly but try to pin it on ME because they messed up, I'm no criminal nor a thief, I've never been in trouble with anything, I'm just a tax paying citizen who like some work very hard for they're money and trust banks to hold and take care of it but not for them to take from their own customers who are suppose to "trust" them. Before I finish I just want it to be know that the amount taken wasn't a little amount but MORE THAN HALF of my savings account. Lastly, I advise that no one should put any money in the South Plainfield branch, I also advise you to read the reviews and take it serious because one branch which you maybe comfortable with might be good, but another may be the scammers themselves like this one. P.s if I could put 0 stars I would.

  (please read this before applying for home refinance ) worst bank please if you applying for home refinances . please don't go to this bank . they told you we do refinance for $499 only. then they do all perper works and they take $499. and after 2 months they told u that you are not approved for home loan . and they take you $499 too. i lose my $499. so please don't go for this bank.
