Love Washington Trust! I’ve been with the “big” banks. I’ve had accounts at the green credit union. They don’t compare. Washington Trust has ALWAYS taken care of my business and personal accounts with top notch service. I highly recommended them to the people I talk to.

What a horrible experience and a horribly difficult bank to process a home loan or refinance. They made numerous mistakes with paperwork including not updating important documents. They didn't even tell us we had to have an additional inspection. They didn't tell us about fees for that inspection. Our refinance fell through today because they forgot to update documents. It's like they don't know what they are doing AT ALL. This has effected my credit score badly. We didn't even know the refinance failed because they opted to stop communicating with me and started sending emails to my husband's email only. Why, why did you do that. It doesn't make any sense!! They have no excuse as to why they changed contact information. What a miserable experience. FYI they contacted us about refinancing, we didn't seek them out... What a mistake
